Ron has been a Financial advisor for 18 years, the last 5 years with Independent Planning Group. He holds both a Certified General Accountant (CGA) since 1981 and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)designation since 1999.
Ron is Senior Financial Advisor and Branch Manager in our office of 8 CFP's, and responsible for the compliance function for all the advisors in our office.
In addition to his financial planning activities, he is an active member of the professional accounting and financial planning communities. As an active member in these communities, Ron has often been asked to share his thoughts on financial planning issues in print media as well as radio.
Currently, Ron is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Certified General Accountants of Ontario.
Active with the Financial Planning Standards Council, he sits on the Enforcement Policy Committee and the Certification Scheme Committee. He has recently been appointed to the joint CGA/FPSC task force on Practice Standards Revalidation
In his financial planning practice Ron partners with financially motivated individuals and families by developing specialized strategies that will secure their financial future.
Ron assists his clients to realize their financial dreams and goals. Ron understands that helping people realize their lifetime goals is much more than selecting investments.
