Casey began his career in the financial services industry in 1985 with Metropolitan Life. Over the following seven years, he developed a highly-successful advisor practice assisting clients in achieving their financial goals. During that time, he became a leader both within MetLife as well as within the Million Dollar Round Table, a world-wide financial industry peer group recognizing excellence. Casey is a graduate of the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (Ch.F.C.) professional development programs, both of which enhance his expertise in insurance and estate planning. He has excellent knowledge of the financial services industry gained during such capacities as Business Analyst and Director of Business Development for major Canadian institutions. Most recently, Casey was the Advanced Case Consultant for Independent Planning Group, assisting advisors in designing and implementing wealth and risk management solutions for their clients. With his return to private practice, Casey now enjoys the challenge of working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals.

Casey is married with two adult daughters. He is an avid curler, cross-country skier, cyclist and outdoor enthusiast. He also plays bagpipes and is a proud member of the RCMP Pipes and Drums. Since early in his life, Casey has been involved in service organizations and charity work. He has played several leadership roles in both of these areas and continues to do so.
